WCL Managing Director interviewed for Rail Professional magazine

Steven Stocks, the Managing Director and co-founder of WCL, was featured in a double page Q&A spread Rail Professional‘s June issue.

Steve said, “It was great to trace my journey in rail all the way back to its roots with Rail Professional magazine, which started with an apprenticeship with British Rail over 32 years ago.

Charting my course all the way from then to the creation of WCL, and reflecting on where we are now, has been a really rewarding experience.

It was also a great opportunity to take stock of what lies ahead for us, from new opportunities (and potentially new countries) to new ways of working as major industry reforms become more and more likely.”

In the piece itself, Steve dives into his origins as a rail professional, what inspired him to found the company, and WCL best achievements in recent times. He also shares some of WCL’s goals for the future, as well as his perspective on hot topics like the Rail Reform Bill and skill shortages in the sector.
